Abstract
The case of a 71-year-old Japanese man with primary jejunal melanoma with an unusual clinical course is reported. Several cases of primary malignant melanoma of the small intestine have been reported, but in most cases no clear evidence has shown whether the lesions were primary or metastatic. We discuss why the tumor in our case was considered primary, and we review similar cases of primary melanoma of the small intestine.Entities:
