Abstract

Cleavage of a model phosphate ester and supercoiled plasmid DNA by a Cu(I).adenylated polymer template and preliminary mechanistic investigations are reported. A novel paradigm for the design of recyclable nucleolytic reagents allowing multiple use of this catalyst is also demonstrated
