Abstract
Haemodynamic factors may influence the appearance of the tomograms during the performance of angio-tomography. Model experiments have shown that the thickness of section able to demonstrate vessels may depend on the relationship between vessel opacification and the timing of the cut. The clinical relevance of this is illustrated by tomographic studies of the renal and cerebral circulations.Mesh:
