Abstract
Cyclosporine is being increasingly used in veterinary medicine. It is a potent suppressor of T cell induction and proliferation, and has a wide variety of anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative effects, downregulating effects on antigen presentation, and variable effects on parasites. This paper reviews its properties and mechanisms of action with particular reference to its use in the treatment of dermatological conditions in dogs, cats and people.Entities:
