Abstract
The addition of LiPh to Ar*SnCl (Ar* = C6H3-2,6-Trip2; Trip = C6H2-2,4,6-iPr3) at low temperature afforded the Sn(1)-Sn(III) species Ar*SnSnPh2Ar*, which exists in equilibrium with the Sn(II) compound Ar*SnPh. It is the first example of a room-temperature equilibrium of compounds involving main group elements in different oxidation states.Entities:
