Abstract
The effective palliation of endobronchial malignancies often involves the use of multiple modalities including surgery, external beam radiation, chemotherapy, or a variety of interventional bronchoscopic techniques. The authors discuss in detail recent advances in interventional bronchoscopy that enhance local tumor control. An integrated and individualized approach to the use of these complementary modalities can provide rapid palliation and may improve survival in a subset of patients.Entities:
