The Laboratory Response Network for bioterrorism.

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To describe the function and levels of analysis performed by members of the Laboratory Response Network in coping with biological agents of terrorism. DATA SOURCES: Current literature and the Internet.
CONCLUSIONS: The Laboratory Response Network is designed to enable rapid, safe, and accurate diagnosis of disease in order to mobilize the nation's response to acts of bioterrorism.
