Abstract
Little is known about the prevalence of hazing behaviors among adolescent athletes. Our survey of 1105 6th-12th grade athletes found that 17.4% had been subjected to practices that qualify as hazing. Many of these teenagers do not comprehend the abusive and potentially dangerous nature of hazing.Mesh：
