Abstract
BACKGROUND: Laparoscopic management of mesenteric cysts during pregnancy has not been reported before. CASE REPORT: A young woman with a mesenteric cyst associated with a crossed ectopic kidney, underwent laparoscopic excision of the cyst in the second trimester of pregnancy. The procedure was completed without complications, and the patient was discharged on the third postoperative day. Thereafter, the pregnancy progressed uneventfully, and she delivered a healthy baby at term.Entities:
