Abstract
Novel synthetic procedures for the modification of non-proteinogenic acetylene-containing amino acids have been developed. The functionalization either proceeds via zinc/copper-mediated introduction of alkyl substituents, or via tungsten-catalyzed ring-closing alkyne metathesis reactions.Entities:
