Role of adrenergic mechanisms in regulation of phagocytic cell functions in acute stress response.

Jurii I Shilov1, Ekaterina G Orlova.

Abstract

The effects of acute immobilization stress and its combination with beta-adrenergic receptor blockade on some functions of phagocytic cells have been analyzed. beta-Adrenergic mechanisms were shown to be involved in regulation of phagocytic cell functions in acute stress response.
