Abstract
A 69-year-old white multiparous woman presented a reticulated yellowish patch with scattered keratotic papules on her abdomen. Histopathological examination demonstrated pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE)-like changes. The diagnosis of perforating calcific elastosis (PCE) was made based on the absence of a personal and familial history of PXE. PCE is a localized acquired dermatosis and is considered to be a distinct clinical entity.Entities:
