Abstract
Nodular fasciitis is a benign, fibrohistiocytic tumor most commonly arising on the trunk. Histopathologically it can be misdiagnosed as fibrosarcoma. We present a case report and review of the literature. Local excision to completely remove the tumor proved curative at 1 year of follow-up. We concluded that nodular fasciitis can be encountered on the cheek and should be regarded as a benign tumor.Entities:
