Abstract
The clinical use of mood stabilizers and antipsychotics in children and adolescents with bipolar disorders has increased significantly over the past few years. These agents have multiple effects and interactions. This articles reviews the studies that support the use of mood stabilizers and atypical antipsychotics in children and adolescents with bipolar disorders and presents information on these agent's pharmacokinetics, dosing, and drug interactions.Entities:
