Abstract
Electrical stimulation of threshold branches beyond the celiac ganglion in lightly anesthetized cats results in phrenic nerve responses of two kinds. The anterior branches are inhibitory. The inferior branches are excitatory. The significance of the results are discussed in relation with visceral afferent nerve pathways.Entities:
