Abstract
Along with the typical intertriginous localization of Hailey-Hailey disease, generalized cutaneous involvement may also occur. Besides nonspecific triggers, genetic factors are considered to be responsible. Mutations of the ATP2C1 gene have been identified as causative factors in this genetic disease. No direct genotype-phenotype correlation between a specific mutation and the disseminated variant of Hailey-Hailey disease has been demonstrated.Entities:
