Abstract
The paper recalls different preparations of vaccines (including these containing S, preS1 and preS2 antigens), schemes of vaccinations and their effects. The possible causes of hyporeactivity to hepatitis B vaccines, both technical and dependent on deficiency of immunity, or immunogenetic profile of a vaccine were discussed. The persistence of anti-HBs responses after natural infection and post-vaccination was compared. Finally, a possibility of persistence of post-vaccination cellular immunity for at least 15 years was discussed.Entities:
