Abstract
Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) has been used in a wide range of neurological conditions. Clinical effect of IVIG has been shown in controlled trials in patients with Guillain-Barré syndrome, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, multifocal motor neuropathy, dermatomyositis and recently in multiple sclerosis. This article aims to provide clinicians with an overview of the potential benefits of intravenous immunoglobulins in neurological practice.Entities:
