Suppression of malignancy in human cells.

E J Stanbridge.

Abstract

Fusion between malignant and normal human cells results in the suppression of malignancy as measured by tumour formation. Malignant-malignant hybrids retain their malignant character. The human cell system has advantages for the study of the control of malignancy.
