Mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the lacrimal sac.

Abstract

Mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the lacrimal sac is a rare entity. We report a case of mucoepidermoid carcinoma arising in the lacrimal sac of a 30-year-old man who presented with an inner canthal mass. To our knowledge this is the first example of the cytopathology of this neoplasm in this anatomic site. Copyright 2003, Elsevier Science (USA). All rights reserved.
