Abstract
MRI of the breast is increasingly used to detect additional, conventionally occult primary or recurrent breast cancer. To enable a safe and yet tissue-sparing histologic sampling of these lesions, techniques are needed to allow the preoperative wire localization or core biopsy under MR guidance. This text serves to provide an overview on the current status of the different approaches that have been developed to allow selective histologic sampling of "MR-only" lesions.Entities:
