Abstract
Meniscal ossicles are rare in the human knee. We present one case. A 57-year-old taxi driver complained of right knee pain and swelling with radiographic findings of a meniscal ossicle. Arthroscopic inspection showed a degenerative and horizontal tear and calcium deposit at the middle and posterior thirds of lateral discoid meniscus. His lateral discoid meniscus, containing the ossicle, was removed. He was asymptomatic at a 3-year follow-up.Entities:
