Abstract
Retention of intrauterine fetal bones is a rare finding in patient suffering from abnormal uterine bleeding or secondary infertility. Detailed patient history, pelvic ultrasonography and hysteroscopy are diagnostic tools. Here, we describe a case of postmenopausal persistent uterine bleeding and pelvic pain caused by prolonged retention of fetal bones after a midtrimester abortion 17 years ago.Entities:
