Industrial applications of sonochemistry in the syntheses of vitamin-building blocks.

Abstract

In this article, the application of ultrasound in syntheses of vitamins and fine chemicals is presented. Based on selected examples, the use of ultrasound in dehydration, isomerisation, and decarboxylation reactions is described.
