Abstract
We report on a 3-year-old boy in whom a complete occlusive thrombus in the right femoral artery was removed rapidly and successfully using a hydrodynamic thrombectomy catheter. There was no bleeding complication, reocclusion, vascular injury, or loss of motor or sensory function. Hydrodynamic thrombectomy can be an important part of the treatment of thrombosis in children.Entities:
