Abstract
Successful treatment of obesity usually requires multiple interventions. The choice of therapies should be guided by the initial assessment of a patient's degree of obesity and comorbid conditions, if present. A variety of interventions can achieve short-term weight loss, but rebound weight gain is common when therapy is stopped. Thus, programs for weight maintenance are critical to ultimate success.Entities:
