Abstract
In mice, pilocarpine - or oxotremorine - induced decrease in locomotor activity and increase of the reaction time to pain were antagonized by atropine and not by methylatropinium. Identical doses of atropine and methylatropinium suppressed the antagonism of the cholinergics towards reserpine-induced palpebral ptosis. Cholinergics-induced hypothermia was not clearly antagonized by atropine or methylatropinium.Entities:
