Abstract
Besides blunt and penetrating trauma, many diseases spontaneously produce abdominal hemorrhage. Here the term "spontaneous" implies the lack of observable injury, but the likelihood that unrecognized trauma initiates blood loss which continues unabated when clotting factors are absent or depleted. Survival of the patient often depends on rapid and accurate diagnosis.Entities:
