Abstract
The solitary fibrous tumour (SFT), also known as a localized fibrous mesothelioma, is a neoplasm characterized by the proliferation of capillaries surrounded by masses of round or spindle-shaped cells. SFT has been discovered in many locations, however, it is extremely rare for SFT to be found in the intraoral region. We report here case of SFT arising from the tongue of a 75-year-old woman. To our knowledge, this is the second case reported of SFT originating from the tongue.Entities:
