Abstract
Despite the advent of high-output, recombinant DNA-based screening strategies, many important protein-protein interactions in the plant cell have been and still are revealed using co-sedimentation, affinity chromatography and other affinity techniques, co-immunoprecipitation and cross-linking. The advantages of these techniques, the care that should be taken interpreting the data obtained and the possible ways to overcome pitfalls are illustrated.Mesh:
