Abstract
Diseases caused by Aspergillus species are increasing in importance, especially among immunocompromised hosts. Clinical manifestations are variable, ranging from allergic to invasive disease, largely depending on the status of the host's immune system. This article focuses on the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of diseases caused by Aspergillus species, with more detailed discussion on therapy of the most morbid manifestation, invasive aspergillosis.Entities:
