Abstract
Complications of uterine artery embolization (UAE) for treatment of leiomyoma uteri include contrast reactions, hematoma, postembolization syndrome, infection, pulmonary embolus, premature ovarian failure, and uterine necrosis. We present a case of vesicouterine fistula and extrusion of a degenerating leiomyoma into the bladder after UAE, necessitating hysterectomy and partial cystectomy for repair.Entities:
