Development and clinical application of a surgical guide for optimal implant placement.

Abstract

Implant placement based on careful preoperative planning is critical for successful prosthetic rehabilitation. This article describes a system for optimal implant placement that uses a surgical guide designed to orient the surgical drills to predetermined implant positions and inclinations.
