Abstract
Pancytopenia in a seven-month-old baby is described and attributed to sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim therapy. Plasma cells and histiocytes were prominent in the initial bone marrow examination and quite unlike the fatty hypocellular marrow usually seen in aplastic anemia.Entities:
