Abstract
Programmed cell death (PCD) plays an important role in normal and malignant hematopoieis. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Inoue et al. (2002) demonstrate that the CED-1 homolog, Slug, is a key regulator of apoptosis in the response of early hematopoietic progenitors to gamma radiation.Entities:
