Abstract
A sixth case report of multiseptate gallbladder is presented because of its rarity and because of its association in pregnancy. The anomaly has a diagnostic X-ray appearance. As reported in four previously recorded cases, no inflammation was found in our patient's specimen despite symptoms mimicking cholecystitis. Initial presentation and worsening clinical course during the patient's pregnancy lend credence to the idea that symptoms are caused not by inflammation but by pressure in the chambers, caused by relative delay in emptying. Cholecystectomy is recommended because it uniformly has relieved symptoms.Entities:
