Abstract
Although somewhat new to nursing, service-learning has had a long history of development. To be successful, a service-learning program must have institutional support, interested faculty and motivated students, potential for strong community partnerships, and an ongoing orientation and development component. Reflection is an important link between the service students perform and the learning outcomes of that service.Entities:
