Fixation of the first component of complement by immune complexes: effect of reduction and fragmentation of antibody.

Abstract

The integrity of both covalent and non-covalent bonds between the heavy chains of rabbit immunoglobulin gamma antibody is essential for maximal efficiency of binding of the first component of complement to immune complexes.
