Choreic syndrome due to Hashimoto's encephalopathy.

Abstract

We report on the instructive case of an elderly woman who became encephalopathic and concurrently developed chorea. Thyroid antibody studies were abnormal. She responded extremely well to oral corticosteroids. Copyright 2002 Movement Disorder Society
