Abstract
Three case reports of successful treatment for exudative pericarditis in children are presented. These were the result of staphylococcal pneumonias or acute hematogenic osteomyelitis. The treatment comprised punctures or drainage of the pericardium with lavage of its cavity with solutions of antibiotics and hydrocortisone against the background of general therapy. Late results were studied within the terms from 3 to 5 years. All children made good recovery.Entities:
