Abstract
Microcapsules of sodium phenobarbitone, with a wall of ethyl cellulose, have been prepared. The size distribution was determined by use of standard sieves and the effect of coreWALL ratio noted. Release of the drug into an aqueous medium was studied. The release pattern was found to have similar characteristics to the release of a drug from an insoluble porous matrix.Entities:
