Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of the genomes of two orbiviruses: D'Aguilar and Eubenangee.

R D Schnagl, I H Holmes.

Abstract

The orbiviruses D'Aguilar and Eubenangee were shown to possess RNA genomes separable into ten segments by electrophoresis on polyacrylamide gels. Although there were minor differences in the molecular weights of corresponding genome segments of the two orbiviruses, the overall patterns were more similar to each other than to that of the reovirus type 3 genome.
