Abstract
A brief review of the molecular mechanisms of nickel carcinogenesis is presented. Molecular mechanisms of nickel carcinogenesis are considered from the point-of-view of nickel-induced gene silencing by DNA hypermethylation in mammalian cells and by its ability to inhibit histone acetylation. Model systems designed to study the molecular mechanism of gene silencing are discussed.Entities:
