Abstract
The chromosome set of G. melanostomus (Pallas) consists of 46 acrocentric chromosomes (2n-46). There are 30 chromosomes in the caryotype of G. batrachocephalus (Pallas): 16 metacentric and 14 acrocentric. The equal number of arms in the chromosome sets of the studied fish (FN-46) evidences for phylogenetic relationships of these species.Entities:
