Abstract
IMPLICATIONS: Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) has not been used during airway manipulation to assess the occasional occurrence of hemodynamic instability that occurs especially in cardiac patients. We describe a new technique using an endoscopy mask to perform TEE monitoring during airway manipulation with a large concentration of supplemented oxygen.Entities:
