Abstract
A patient with invasive fibrous thyroiditis (Riedel's thyroiditis), dysphagia, and bilateral lacrimal gland involvement is described. Resolution of the thyroid mass and orbital swellings followed corticosteroid therapy. The unusual ocular features of this case are briefly discussed and the use of corticosteroid and other immunosuppressant therapy in multifocal fibrosclerosis is reviewed.Entities:
