Abstract
Blistering is a common occurrence generally caused by moderate or repetitive trauma to the skin. Blistering due to minor trauma is less common and may be associated with a group of heterogeneous genetic diseases called epidermolysis bullosa (EB). The level of vesiculation within the skin defines 3 major subtypes of EB: EB simplex (EBS), dystrophic EB, and junctional EB. We will review the simple type-EBS.Entities:
