Abstract
The literature on smoking cessation for those in recovery from other drug use is reviewed. Reasons for engaging in this work, arguments against treatment of smoking along with another drug, characteristics of drug users who smoke, and treatment content implications are reviewed. Outcomes of 24 studies are presented. It is concluded that the future of research and practice in this arena should include facilitating smoking cessation among those early in recovery.Entities:
