Abstract
Pancreatectomy in a 45-year-old woman showed, after pathologic analysis, an epidermoid cyst originating from an intrapancreatic accessory spleen. This mass consisted of parenchymal and cystic components. It is important to note the relation between the splenic parenchyma and the parenchymal component of the mass for the differential diagnosis of a cystic mass in the pancreatic tail.Entities:
