Abstract
A case of moderatley severe neuromyelitis optica following infectious mononucleosis is described as the first reported instance of this complication. Total recovery occurred. Rapid improvement followed the commencement of corticosteroids. It is postulated that the pathological process was one of postinfectious demyelination.Entities:
